Pink Friday started off in December 2015 with the LGBT society of IT Sligo. Since then, Pink Friday nights have been run by the society and more recently, Sligo Pride.

Now the OutWest Sligo Sub-Committee are facilitating this social meet up on the third Friday of each month from 8pm to 11pm.
Join us outside in The Swagman Bar in Sligo for some funky chips or a drink!
Given recent events following the death of a man in Sligo and a homophobic attack in Dublin last weekend we urge all attendees to take extra care when attending:
– If possible don’t walk home alone and if you can afford it, get a taxi.
– If you are meeting someone you met online for the first time in person, let a trusted friend know where you are and give them as much information about the person you are meeting as you can.
