Brief info
Hi I’m Róisín (She/Her) and I am from a small rural village called Lahardane, in Co. Mayo. I’m pretty much a serial volunteer, and I’ve been getting involved with many community and non-profit organisations since the age of 19, including Mindspace Mayo, SpunOut.ie, Barretstown, Mayo Pride, and now OutWest. I have recently graduated with a degree in Social Care from GMIT.
I first joined as an Ordinary Committee Member in early 2020, and am now the Communications Officer/PRO of OutWest. I am really excited to take on this role and see the organisation grow and thrive even more over the next year!
