This year we are keeping our Pride Event online and we’re delighted to announce Pride Inside, an online Pride festival happening from the 11th-19th July. Pride Inside is a collaboration between ourselves, Killarney Pride, Black Pride Ireland, Galway Pride, Limerick Pride, and Kerry Pride.

The events happening online throughout the week of the festival will include panel discussions, watch parties, quizzes, and live music. We’ll be revealing the full line-up soon, so keep an eye on our social media accounts! 

Pride Inside is an opportunity to celebrate how diverse our LGBT+ community is and to support each other during these difficult times. We know it can be hard to connect to family, especially found-family and our LGBT+ community at this time. 

For the first time we are coming together to bring a sense of belonging to any LGBT+ person and our supporters in Ireland and beyond. We hope you can join us!

We’re seeking submissions from the Mayo LGBTQIA+ community for any kind of digital submission that showcases Mayo Pride. Rainbow selfies, videos, music, artwork… be as creative as you wish! We will be putting together an online submission to be a part of Virtual LGBTQIA Pride, as well as highlighting submissions on our Facebook page.

Some ideas include: pride selfies, story telling or poetry sharing via written or spoken, self-written songs (videos), or whatever you can think of that showcases Pride in being a part of the most colourful community.

We are also seeking help in volunteers, tech savvy people, and anyone that wants to be a part of the Mayo Pride Committee.
